Explanation
of Ratings:
My ratings are very simple. I rate on a
5-DUNG! scale. 5 being a great movie that everyone should go out and see
right away and DUNG! being a movie that you should avoid like the plauge.
In my eyes, all movies start out as 5
star classics, and they fall from there. These are the 5 categories that
if they are perfect in all 5 of them, they will be a 5 star movie.
1- Great acting. - If I happen to like
the acting, it will get a 1 from me, if the acting is just okay, it
will get 1/2 , and if the acting sucks, its going to get a 0.
2- Great Story. - If the story is
good it will get a 1, if it is just okay, it will get a 1/2 and
if the story is terrible it will get a 0.
3- Great Direction. - If the direction
of the movie is great it will get a 1, if its just okay, it will
get a 1/2 and if its terrible it will get a 0.
4- Expectations - If a movie exceeds
expectations it will get a 1, if the movie meets expectations it
will get a 1/2 and it a movie is below expectations its a 0.
5- Doesn't bore the hell out of me. -
Plain and simple, if the movie bores me it gets a 0, if it doesn't
bore me it gets a 1 and if its in between it gets a 1/2.
If these 5 are all in one movie, it will
be a 5 star movie.
Granted, I have yet to rate a movie 5 star. But
am willing to, and will give movies a chance.
If there is a movie that you think that I
should rate email me and i will be more than happy to give it a look if I
haven't seen it already. If I have seen it I will send you a reply telling
you the rating and the explanation of why I rated the movie the way I did.
The movies that I recommend to see are 3 stars
and above, and the movies I tell you to avoid are all going to be 2 stars
and under. An average movie most likely will not be seen on this site, but
if you would like me to review a movie and it is just an average movie, I
will still be willing to put it up on the site depending on if I enjoyed
the movie or not.
Remember, I keep the reviews pretty vague, so
you go out and see the movie and form your own opinions about it.
