Mission

Starring:

JJ Abrams
Rated PG-13
Synopsis:
Ethan Hunt has been thinking about giving up being a field agent for the

ready to settle down. When an international arms dealer Hunt has been
hunting down catches up to him and kidnaps his new wife all hell breaks
lose.
My Thoughts:
I am not a huge fan of Tom Cruise. So sue me. I enjoyed the other Mission
Impossible movies to a point, this one on the other hand wasn't all that
great. Lets take a look.
Scorecard:
Acting -
If you go to this kind of movie expecting great acting, you are going to be very
disappointed. The acting in this movie while not great, was good enough not to
hurt the movie. Phillip Seymour Hoffman did a good job as the lead bad-guy, and
a surprise appearance from Simon Pegg (Shawn of the Dead) was good stuff! (1/2)
Direction
- I wasn't all that impressed with the way this movie went. It was very
predictable and nothing special. The direction wasn't bad, it was just very
generic. (1/2)
Story
- The story is very typical. Man goes after criminal, criminal goes after mans
family, the not surprising twist...there wasn't anything great about this story,
it was just a very typical and done too many times to be anything special story.
(0)
Expectations -
I didn't expect anything from this movie, and I wasn't let down. (1/2)
Boring?
- This movie was so predictable, it really kind of made it boring, because you
could see the twist a mile away. All the action in the movie was a little too
generic for me too. (1/2)
Final Score:
2 out of 5
Final Thoughts:
This movie really didn't live up to the first two. There was nothing at all
special or great about this film, it was all just there, overall just an
average...if not a little below average movie.
